Job summary

Sound Physicians is seeking a Hospital Medicine Physician in Albuquerque, NM. Join a well-supported team with a 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule and a 12-hour shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The role includes in-house ICU support, EPIC EMR, and potential RVU/Quality bonuses.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
• Practicing physician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Closed ICU – 10 beds. In-house pulmonary and critical care physicians are available for support. Intensivists are there 24/7.
• Hospitalists do respond to codes, but you are notified through cross coverage about rapid responses for your patients.
• EPIC EMR and access to Sound Physicians internal informatics platform.
• Manageable workload and manageable encounters.

Local Team Collaboration

• We take pride in our well-established team at Presbyterian Rust of 33.5 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers (APP), with the support of a clinical performance nurse, a clinical performance associate, and a group coordinator.

Rewards And Compensation

• Day Shift Rate is $1,829, Night Shift Rate 1 (13.5 hours) is $2,372.63, and Night 2 (12 hours) is $2,109.
• Daytime Base Pay of $334,000.
• Eligible for RVU and Quality bonuses.
• Full Benefits to include 401K and CME allowance.
