Job summary

Sound Physicians is recruiting a Hospital Medicine Physician to join Presbyterian Plains Regional in Clovis, New Mexico. You will join a well-established team, work in a 106-bed hospital with EPIC EMR support, and collaborate closely with hospital leadership and other physician groups.

Shifts include 7-on/7-off: nocturnist 7 PM–7 AM or daytime 7 AM–7 PM. Base pay is $346,750 (day) or $365,000 (night) with a $50k sign-on, relocation assistance, RVU/Quality bonuses, and CME allowance.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
• 2027 graduates encouraged to apply.
• Sound sponsors J1 visas; licensing and credentialing support for visa filing fees covered by Sound.

Responsibilities

• Average census of 18 per doctor.
• Average floor calls of about 80.
• NO Procedures.
• Most specialists are in-house.
• CRNAs manage the 7 ICU beds.

Local Team Collaboration:

• We take pride in our well-established team at Presbyterian Plains Regional of 6 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider (APP), with the support of a clinical performance nurse, a clinical performance associate, and a group coordinator.
• Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. We are an integral part of our hospital community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and other physician groups.
• This is part of the Presbyterian System which is a total of 9 hospitals in NM. This 106 bed hospital services Eastern NM and West TX.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
• 2027 graduates encouraged to apply.
• We proudly sponsor J1 visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support. All required filing fees for the visa are covered by Sound.

Scheduling:

• Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
• As a Nocturnist, you will be working nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• As a Daytime Hospitalist, you will be working 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Rewards and Compensation:

• Day Shift Rate of $1,900 and Night Shift Rate of $2,000.
• Daytime hospitalist will have a base pay of $346,750 and nocturnist will have a base salary of $365,000.
• $50,000 sign on bonus.
• Eligible for RVU and Quality bonus.
• Full benefits including CME allowance.
• Relocation assistance.
