AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is seeking a hospitalist to join our growing team in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. The role offers a 7 on/7 off day shift schedule and opportunities for professional growth within a large, community-based hospital.

You'll work with an intensivist team, use Cerner with Dragon for dictation, and benefit from a supportive environment centered on collaboration, quality patient care, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in internal medicine or family medicine.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

• See a wide variety of diseases in a large community hospital with multispecialty support.

Local Team Collaboration

• Join our close-knit team of 20 physicians and 6 advanced practice clinicians with a clinical performance nurse at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission.
• The 504-bed hospital is a closed ICU with intensivist support.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible physicians in internal medicine or family medicine.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling

• 7 on/ 7off day shift.
• We’re always there to support each other when covering shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• See a wide variety of diseases while still having specialists readily available in a large community-based hospital with multispecialty support.
• Work in coordination with an intensivist team that handles all procedures, allowing you to focus on patient care and clinical decision-making.
• Utilize Cerner with Dragon for efficient dictation and access to our internal informatics platform for streamlined workflow and communication.
