Job description

Hospitalist Opportunity in Mobile, Alabama (Gulf Coast)

Position Details:

1. Increased patient census.
2. Compensation: $305 base salary + $25K paid bi-annually based on patient satisfaction and length of stay.
3. Sign-on bonus: $15K, Moving expenses: $10K.
4. No PTO offered.
5. Preference for Internal Medicine, will consider Family Medicine with Hospitalist experience.
6. Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
7. Schedule: 18 shifts per month, including 12 shifts leaving around 2 p.m. after rounding, and 6 shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (3 days) and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. (3 nights).
8. Nurse Practitioners handle the majority of admits.
9. Patient load: 20-22 patients per shift.
10. Rapid response and code team available to run codes.
11. Open ICU with a large pulmonary intensivist group as primary caregivers.
12. Coverage for 13 rural hospitals feeding into the hospital.
13. Clinical autonomy within a financially sound health system.
14. EMR System: Cerner.
