Job summary

Sound Physicians is seeking a Hospital Medicine Physician in Lexington, Kentucky, to join a collaborative inpatient team at St. Joseph Hospital-Lexington.

You will work with 20 physicians and 6 APPs to deliver uncompromising care and shape patient outcomes for the community. The schedule features a balanced 7-days-on/7-days-off pattern with 24-hour intensivist support in the ICU, no procedures required, and regular team huddles, monthly all-staff meetings, and CME sessions to stay engaged and

Local Team Collaboration:

• We are seeking hospitalists to join our supportive team of 20 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers (APPs) with help from 2 clinical performance nurses at St. Joseph Hospital-Lexington.


• Work in a diverse environment, blending seasoned professionals and recent graduates.


• Collaborate closely with hospital administration through committees and projects to enhance hospital operations and patient care.


• Engage regularly with team members through in-person meetings and social events to foster alignment and connection.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.


• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

• Enjoy a balanced 7-days-on/7-days-off schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
