Adfinitas Health is seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join the University of Maryland at Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland. This full-time position offers a flexible block schedule and inpatient hospitalist duties.

Responsibilities include admitting patients, performing exams, ordering tests, bedside rounds, and discharge planning within the EPIC system. Must be board-certified in Internal Medicine with Maryland license and active BLS/ACLS, DEA and CDS

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

We have an opportunity for a BE/BC Internal Medicine Physician to join our well-established Hospital Medicine service at University of Maryland at Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland.This is a full time position with a flexible block schedule.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our hospitalist team provides inpatient internal medicine care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds and planning for discharge.

• Follow all established policies for maintenance and signing of medical records.
• Contribute to the achievement of department goals and adhere to policies, procedures, and quality and safety standards.
• Submit accurate and timely charges for all professional services performed.

POSITION DETAILS

• Our hospitalist team provides inpatient care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds, and planning for discharge.
• Average Patients per shift: 15- 17
• EMR: EPIC
• ICU: Managed by the Intensivist
• Procedures/Vents: None
• Must be BC/BE in Internal Medicine with an active Maryland license, BLS, ACLS, DEA and CDS License.
