Job summary

Adfinitas Health is seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join the University of Maryland at Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland. This full-time position offers a flexible block schedule and inpatient hospitalist duties.

Responsibilities include admitting patients, performing exams, ordering tests, bedside rounds, and discharge planning within the EPIC system. Must be board-certified in Internal Medicine with Maryland license and active BLS/ACLS, DEA and CDS

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Internal Medicine.
• Active Maryland medical license.
• BLS, ACLS, DEA and CDS licenses.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Admit patients and perform initial exams.
• Order tests, interpret results, and manage care.
• Conduct hospital rounds and develop discharge plans.
• Document care and maintain compliance with policies.
