Job Opportunity: Hospitalist in Spencer, West Virginia

ProTouch Staffing is seeking a Hospitalist for a facility in Spencer, WV, starting in March. The position involves daytime coverage from 7am to 7pm, with a preference for providers available for a 7 on/7 off schedule. If a 7-day schedule isn't possible, a minimum of 4-5 consecutive shifts is required for continuity. Priority will be given to those available for the 7 on/7 off schedule.

Job Details

• EMR: Meditech
• Total Beds: 22
• ICU Beds: None; providers should have skills in intubation and central line placement for emergencies
• Daily Census: 8 acute patients / 4-6 swing shift
• Physician Shifts: 7am-7pm (single)
• APP Shifts: 7pm-7am (single)
• Specialty Coverages: Cardiology, General Surgery, PRN Pulmonology, Nephrology
• Procedures: Intubation, Central Lines (emergencies)

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified in IM/FM or Truly BE (within 5 years of residency) — REQUIRED
• Procedural logs from the past 12 months (e.g., Jan 2023 to Present) reflecting central lines, intubations, vents — REQUIRED
• Active West Virginia license at the time of credentialing — REQUIRED
• COVID-19 vaccination — REQUIRED
• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications — REQUIRED
• Clean license, DEA, background, and malpractice history — REQUIRED
• Full presentation with rates and availability must be submitted at the time of credentialing — REQUIRED
