Job description

Northern Minnesota Hospitalist Opening - 90 Minutes from Duluth

Clinical Role:

1. Seeking a board-certified or truly board-eligible internal medicine hospitalist.
2. Work 13-14 shifts a month, with a mix of day and night shifts.
3. Day shifts are from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., with one physician and one APP during the day.
4. See 10-14 patients, including 0-4 admissions.
5. Night shifts are from 5 p.m. to 6 a.m., with one physician on duty.
6. Handle 0-4 admissions per night and must be able to manage ventilators.
7. Central lines are preferred but not required.
8. Open ICU with TeleICU support from the University of Minnesota.
9. Respond to codes and handle all admissions.
10. Level III Trauma Center; 2021 residents are welcome.
11. No visa candidates, unfortunately.

Organization Information:

1. Hospital-employed position with a salary of $310-$315k, plus up to $15k annual bonus.
2. Sign-on bonus and a generous loan forgiveness program to forgive up to $100k over 4-5 years.
3. $5,200 annual CME allowance.
4. Facilities include 24/7 anesthesiology, general surgery, radiology, hospitalists, pediatricians, and more.
5. The hospital has invested $20 million over the past decade and has over 1,100 employees.
6. State-of-the-art imaging equipment, including new MRI and ultrasound machines.
7. Three OB clinics nearby and resources from the University of Minnesota available.
