Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified/eligible in family medicine or internal medicine.
• Active Indiana medical license or eligible to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Day Hospitalists round on patients and manage admissions as part of a two-hospitalist team with an APP.
• We do not perform procedures; we handle codes and rapid responses.
• You will admit to the ICU but consult with an intensivist; specialty support available nearby.
• We work with Epic EMR and cross-credential at our Merrillville location.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
• Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Indiana.

Scheduling

• We have both day and night positions with an array of flexible scheduling options.

Key Responsibilities

• Day Hospitalists Round on patients as well as do admissions. Our model is 2 Hospitalists along with an APP working as a team.
• We do not perform procedures, but we do run codes and rapids.
• You will be admitting to the ICU but do consult with an intensivist. We also have specialty support that can be at the hospital within minutes if necessary.
• We work with Epic as our EMR system and would be cross-credentialed at our sister location in Merrillville.
