An hour and a half north of Sacramento.

Facility Location: Grass Valley, CA

Duties: Consult patients in ED and inpatients, collaborate with Hospitalists and Specialists, supervise stress tests (Pharmacological / Exercise), interpret OP and INPT echocardiology, Holter, Event Monitors.

Required Procedures: Ideal candidate can perform TEE; optional - Transvenous pacing, tilt table interpretation.

EMR: Cerner

Support Staff: Cardiology Manager, Echocardiographers, and Cardiology Technicians.

Reason for Coverage: Gaps in coverage.

Admissions per Day: Average 3-4 consults, supervised stress tests: 4-8, Echos: 5-12.

Types of Cases: Typical 'non-interventional' community hospital cardiology cases.
