Nocturnist Hospitalist - Internal Medicine

Schedule: 7 on/7 off block scheduling; 6:00 pm 6:00 am

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join our practice in Central Texas. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in a 180+ bed hospital.
• Manage and coordinate patient care throughout the night shift.
• Attend to patients in the open ICU setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in running codes and handling emergent situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• Active Texas Medical License or ability to obtain.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Hospitalist preferred.
• ACLS/BLS certification required.
