The Saint Alphonsus Cancer Care Center, located in the vibrant city of Boise, Idaho, is seeking a dedicated locum Hospitalist specializing in Oncology to fulfill a critical need in our inpatient unit. Our facility offers a supportive environment for both oncology and hematology patients, with a collaborative atmosphere among healthcare professionals. Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct inpatient rounding, admissions, and consultations.
• Provide care for oncology and hematology patients in a supportive inpatient setting.
• Utilize the EPIC documentation system for patient records.
• Administer medication and follow treatment protocols for patients.
• Collaborate with outpatient oncologists available for support and consultation.
• Complete all necessary documentation and records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Medical Oncology/Hematology - REQUIRED
• ID license in hand - REQUIRED
• Current CSR, DEA, and BLS certifications - REQUIRED
• Availability to start immediately following credentialing - REQUIRED
• Clean background and malpractice history - REQUIRED
• Local candidates with no flight requirements - HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Must have COVID vaccine prior to employment - REQUIRED

License and Certification Requirements:

• State medical license from Idaho.
• Board Certification in Medical Oncology or Medical Oncology/Hematology.
• DEA and CSR certification.
• BLS certification.
