Job description

Seeking BC/BE Pediatricians to join our patient-focused Pediatric Hospitalist at St. Luke's Medical Center in Boise, ID. This opportunity boasts a supportive work environment and close collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to providing exceptional inpatient pediatric care. The Pediatric Hospitalists will have a great relationship with the Pediatrics clinics in Treasure Valley, as well as the Pediatric Hospitalist program in Twin Falls. Enjoy state of the art facilities, associated with the state s only Children s Hospital, while working with award winning health system in a thriving community with abundant outdoor activities.

Responsibilities will include caring for inpatient pediatric patients within a dedicated ten-bed pediatric unit with specialty trained pediatric nurses, normal newborn exams, consults for the emergency department or other teams as needed, and ongoing medical education of both residents and medical students. Attending deliveries is not required as there is an on-site NICU. Pediatric subspecialty care is available through the associated Children s hospital and includes most pediatric subspecialties. Call is from home and the schedule offers excellent work/life balance as well as high degree of predictability. There is ample opportunity for involvement in system-level quality improvement projects and leadership activities.
