Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Per Diem Hospitalist to the team at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. The role involves medical management in Medicine Inpatient Units, consultations, and teaching residents and students in a modern, high-volume urban hospital.

Qualifications include NYS license eligibility and Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine. The hospital system emphasizes equity and high-quality care for all New Yorkers.

Opportunity Details:

• Medical management and comprehensive care of patients in the Medicine Inpatient Units.
• Attend to consultations and referrals, as needed.
• Provide education and training to residents, medical students, and junior members of the medical team.
• Collaboration with facility-wide Departments,as required.
• Participation in hospital-wide performance and quality improvement projects and patient safety initiatives.
• Responsible for the supervision of Advanced Practice Providers.
• Flexible schedule for evening and overnight hours coverage.

Qualifications

• Active or eligible for aNYS License
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
• Cultural sensitivity and experience treating a diverse patient population preferred
• $106.77 per hour for weekdays*
• $150 per hour for weekends and holidays*
