Job summary

MEP Health is seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN to serve as an OB Hospitalist providing continuous inpatient obstetric care in a busy Scottsdale hospital with Level III NICU support. You will handle OB emergencies, assist with deliveries, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to maintain high-quality patient care.

• Board Certified OB/GYN with OB Hospitalist experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Ability to obtain AZ medical licensure and practice flexibility to tailor the role (OB-only or GYN expansion).

• Provide 24/7 in-house obstetric care in a high-acuity environment.
• Manage OB emergencies and assist with cesarean deliveries.

Job description

Role:

OB/OBGYN Hospitalist providing inpatient obstetric care in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities:

Deliver 24/7 in-house obstetric care at a busy hospital with Level III NICU support, manage OB emergencies, assist with cesarean deliveries, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, safe patient care. Cover a flexible schedule with a minimum of 6, 24-hour shifts per month, and work within an established team fostering camaraderie and mentorship.

Qualifications & Skills:

Board Certified OB/GYN, previous OB Hospitalist experience preferred, ability to obtain AZ medical licensure, strong communication, and teamwork skills. Focus on clinical excellence with flexibility to tailor practice to interests, including OB-only or expanding into GYN.
