Job summary

Sound Physicians is hiring a Nurse Practitioner to join our hospitalist team in Clovis, California. The role focuses on day rounding, providing inpatient care in a 12-hour shift from 7 am to 7 pm on a 7 on/7 off schedule.

We welcome both experienced NPs and new graduates who have completed an acute care NP program. Active CA license is preferred, with a collaborative, team-based working environment at Clovis Community Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible Nurse Practitioner.
• Active California license preferred.
• Experience in a hospital setting with inpatient care is preferred.
• New graduates are welcome; acute care NP program completed required.
• Ability to work well in a team-based environment and focus on collaboration and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care in a hospitalist rounding role, collaborating with day and swing shift APPs.
• Address a broad spectrum of patient needs in a diverse population.
• Utilize Epic EMR for charting and documentation.

We are hiring full-time or part-time Nurse Practitioners for a day rounding role.

Local Team Collaboration

• Join a team of 30 physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Providers at Clovis Community Medical Center.
• Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. Become an integral member of the hospitalist team and community.

Qualifications

• Board certified/eligible nurse practitioners.
• Active California license preferred.
• Experience in a hospital setting with inpatient care experience preferred.
• New graduates are welcome to apply. You must have completed an acute care NP program.
• Ability to work well in a team-based environment, focusing on collaboration and patient-centered care.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling

• We are looking for a nurse practitioner interested in rounding in a day shift role.
• 7 on/7 off schedule.
• Shifts are 12 hours in length; 7 am – 7 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care in a closed ICU environment. Work alongside other day and swing shift advanced practice providers.
• Our patient population is diverse, so we are looking for a nurse practitioner who relishes the challenge of addressing a broad spectrum of patient needs.
• Utilize Epic EMR system.

Rewards and Compensation
