Job summary

Sound Physicians is seeking a Hospital Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join Piedmont Macon Northside in Macon, Georgia. This role features 12-hour day shifts, collaboration with 1 MD/DO hospitalist, and an open ICU with tele-Intensivist support.

Qualifications

• Board-certified NP.
• Previous hospitalist experience is preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Candidates must be comfortable with an open ICU with tele-Intensivist backup.
• See a wide variety of diseases while still having specialists available in a small community-based hospital.
• Work in coordination with a tele-intensivist with the doctor handling all procedures, codes and rapid responses, allowing you to focus on patient care and clinical decision-making.
• Utilize EPIC with Dragon for efficient dictation and access to our internal informatics platform for streamlined workflow and communication.

Local Team Collaboration

• Join our close-knit team of 2 physicians and 4 APPs at Piedmont Macon Northside.
• Work alongside one MD/DO hospitalist during the day, rounding on an average of 12 patients/day.

Qualifications

• Board-certified NP.
• Previous hospitalist experience is preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling

• 12-hour day shifts with a doctor for collaboration.

Rewards and Compensation

• Compensation: $140,000/year.
• CME allowance.
