Job summary

Sound Physicians is seeking a Swing Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner to join our Covington, WA team. This full-time role features a 7-day on / 7-day off schedule with swing shifts from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The NP will work in a small community hospital with autonomy and limited onsite specialty coverage, handling admissions and cross-coverage. We value collaboration, comprehensive benefits, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Board-certified, experienced nurse practitioner; minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
• AGACNP preferred; FNPs will only be considered with extensive hospitalist experience
• Active NP license or eligible to become licensed in WA
• Authorized to work in the United States

• Swing APPs are responsible for admissions and cross-cover; there may be occasional rounding as well

We are hiring for a Swing Hospitalist. A swing hospitalist requires working exclusively on swing shifts (10 a.m.- 10 p.m.). Candidates must be comfortable with the swing schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during swing hours.

Local Team Collaboration

• Join our close-knit team of 5 physicians, 2 advanced practitioners, and a Medical Director
• Partner with our other MultiCare partner hospitals for transfers of care & specialty coverage
