Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited NP program.
• ACNP certification with current Ohio licensure.
• Certificate to Prescribe must be current.
• Minimum five years of RN in an acute care facility; 1 year NP/ACNP experience preferred; critical care experience preferred.
• Evidence of malpractice insurance must be provided as part of the application process.
• A thorough understanding of HIPAA law is required and professional discretion must be demonstrated.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Computer literacy including Excel, Word and Outlook; EMR experience such as EPIC is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient primary health care under supervising physician.
• Coordinate care with center's physicians and clinical staff.
• Adapt responsibilities by position and specialty; be accessible to physicians, staff and supervisors.
