The opportunity offers a balanced schedule, strong specialty support, and a collaborative inpatient environment with multidisciplinary care and no required procedures. There is potential to participate in care coordination for admissions, consults, and transfers.

Qualifikationen

• Board-certified or board-eligible internal medicine physicians.

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care for adult patients.
• Admit and manage patients from the emergency department and transfers.
• Provide consultative and co-management services with specialists.
• Collaborate with intensivists in care of critically ill patients (no procedures required).
• Manage patients within observation/clinical decision units as appropriate.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, case management, and specialty services.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics.
• Contribute to efficient patient flow and hospital throughput initiatives.
