Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive patient care across multiple populations from neonatal to geriatric. You will evaluate and manage patient needs in collaboration with the hospital medicine team, prescribing within scope and protocol, and contributing to quality care initiatives.

This role requires Texas licensure as an APRN or PA, DEA eligibility, and active ACLS/BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program approved by the State of Texas; Masters of Nursing required.
• Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program; Masters of Nursing strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive patient care per approved population foci.
• Collaborates with hospitalists and multidisciplinary teams; participates in rounds and care planning.
• Manages medical histories, exams, orders and treatments within scope and credentialing.
