Job summary

CaduceusMedicalRecruitment seeks board-certified/board-eligible Internal Medicine physicians to join a robust hospitalist program within a large integrated healthcare system. Enjoy a structured schedule, strong specialty support, and an inpatient environment designed for collaboration.

The hospitalist team offers a 7-on/7-off schedule with 12-hour day shifts, no on-call responsibilities, and substantial subspecialty support including ICU coverage and disaster-ready workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient medical care for adult patients
• Admit and manage patients from the emergency department and transfers
• Provide consultative and co-management services with specialists
• Collaborate with intensivists in the care of critically ill patients (no procedures required)
• Manage patients within observation/clinical decision units as appropriate
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, case management, and specialty services
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics
• Contribute to efficient patient flow and hospital throughput initiatives
