UT Health East Texas is seeking a BC/BE Hospitalist for the Henderson, TX area. The role features a 7-on/7-off daytime schedule with no ICU or procedures required and a patient census of 10–15 per day.

The position includes night cross-coverage by APP and opportunities to pick up additional shifts at regional facilities, supported by Epic EMR and Ambience AI to streamline documentation and patient flow.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Internal Medicine (ABIM).
• Unrestricted Texas Medical License or eligibility to obtain one.
• No visa support available at this location.

Responsabilités

• 7 days on, 7 days off, daytime shift.
• No procedures, no ICU.
• Average daily census 10–15 patients; 2–3 admissions per day.
• Night cross‑coverage by APP.
• ER runs codes.
• Opportunity to pick up extra shifts at regional facilities.
• Smart technology using Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe to reduce documentation burden and improve patient flow.
