Job summary

Enterprise Medical Recruiting seeks a Hospitalist Physician for an inpatient role in Houston, Texas. The position features a 7 on/7 off schedule with a round‑and‑go model and very minimal call requirements, focusing on inpatient medicine without procedures or code team duties.

The successful candidate will manage hospitalized patients, develop treatment plans, review labs, document care, and coordinate with the care team within a team‑based practice.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited school and board‑certified (or board eligible).
• Texas licensure eligibility and DEA registration are required.
• Basic life support and advanced cardiac life support certifications are expected.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage hospitalized patients.
• Develop and implement inpatient treatment plans.
• Review histories, labs, and diagnostic studies.
• Document encounters and care plans.
• Coordinate care with consultants and clinical staff.
• Communicate plans with patients and families.
• Participate in multidisciplinary patient care activities.
