Job summary

TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time internal medicine trained physician to join our stable hospital medicine program at Hendrick Medical Center North in Abilene, Texas. The position offers a block schedule of 7 days on, 7 days off with a team-based support structure and an All-Scripts EMR system.

Qualifications

• Internal medicine trained physician.
• Hospital medicine experience preferred.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in internal medicine.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and manage hospitalized patients.
• Provide codes on own patients as needed (not part of hospital code team).
• Operate within Hendrick Medical Center’s All-Scripts EMR system.
