Job summary

PeaceHealth in Ketchikan, Alaska seeks a Board Certified MD/DO hospitalist for a 0.5 FTE position on a 7 on/7 off block schedule, rotating between days and nights. This 25-bed critical access hospital features an EPIC EMR and a dedicated call room to support patient care.

The ideal candidate will hold BLS/ACLS/PALs within 30 days of hire and join a hospitalist team of 3 full-time staff, 3 part-time staff and per diem clinicians. Relocation and CME support are available.

Qualifications

• Board-certified MD/DO required for inpatient hospitalist role.
• Block schedule of 7 on/7 off with day/night rotation.
• Certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient medical care as hospitalist in AK.
• Collaborate with hospital team for patient management.
• Maintain accurate EPIC EMR documentation and rounds.

Practice Highlights

• Hospitalist team consists of 3 full time, 3 part time and per diem pool
