Job summary

Tyvan LLC is seeking a dynamic Hospitalist to join our team in hospital medicine, coordinating care for hospitalized patients and driving treatment plans with an interdisciplinary team. The role emphasizes leadership in patient care, documentation, and coordination with specialists.

Ideal candidates will have a medical degree (MD/DO), current state licensure, and at least five years of hospitalist experience, with BCLS/ACLS certifications as required by clinical duties.

Qualifications

• Education: MD/DO or professional medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Licensure: Current MD or DO license for the state.
• Experience: Minimum of five years of physician or hospitalist experience focusing on hospital medicine.
• Certifications: BCLS and ACLS certification may be required based on necessity for stress tests performed or as dictated by specialty.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent patient care throughout hospitalization.
• Create and recommend individualized treatment plans.
• Take comprehensive patient medical histories.
• Update patient information and charts with current findings and treatments.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Discuss test results with patients and address inquiries about their health care and treatment options.
• Promote good health practices, including nutrition, hygiene, and self-care, with patients.
• Collaborate effectively with various medical staff, including anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing teams, to ensure cohesive patient care.
