We focus on purpose-driven work, believing that what’s good for pets, people, and the planet benefits Petco.

At our Vetco Total Care Full Service Veterinary Hospitals, our veterinarian role is highly immersive. Our hospital veterinarians are committed to quality in every aspect — from the pets they treat to the team they lead. They are supported by state-of-the-art equipment (ultrasound in every hospital, heated hydraulic surgery tables, DDXR), experienced medical leaders, and a skilled paraprofessional team encouraged to expand their expertise in areas like dentistry and nutrition. Join us to lead your team through the next generation of full-service veterinary care.

  • Develop comprehensive problem lists, differential diagnoses, diagnostic plans, and treatments based on test interpretations.
  • Accurately document all observations, findings, treatments, client interactions, and diagnoses in medical records.
  • Perform routine and complex surgeries, including spays/neuters, exploratory surgeries, and mass removals.
  • Conduct dental procedures, including examinations, radiographs, extractions, and oral surgeries.
