The Unit Secretary at PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington handles nursing unit communications, greets and assists patients, and maintains patient records. You will transcribe physician orders and liaise with the nursing staff to keep the unit running smoothly.

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; certification as Unit Secretary is a plus. Some experience in a medical environment and basic office equipment skills are desirable for this role.

Formación

• Certification as a Unit Secretary preferred.
• Experience in a medical environment preferred; experience with office equipment desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a receptionist for nursing unit communications.
• Maintain patient records and transcribe/communicate physician orders.
• Maintain order at the nursing station and perform related duties as assigned.
