Job summary

AVI Foodsystems at Aultman Hospital in Canton, OH is hiring a full-time Cook/Patient Tray Line Attendant for the 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM shift. Starting pay is $15.00/hr. Training provided to learn patient meal tickets and tray assembly.

Responsibilities include assembling patient trays, stocking, maintaining sanitation, and ensuring trays meet temperature and safety standards. Must be able to lift 25 pounds and work rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, understand, and assemble patient trays.
• Able to lift 25 pounds and push food carts.
• Rotating weekends and holiday shifts required.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of duties in kitchen and patient trayline areas related to preparation, service and transport of food.
• Replenishes supplies for trayline to ensure adequate quantities and uninterrupted service.
• Organizes work for prompt start of trayline and maintains trayline pace.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and coolers.
• Assesses temperatures of food for sanitation purposes.
• Washes dishes, pots and pans and operates dish machine as needed.
• Ensures proper food safety standards to comply with regulations.
