REHAB Hospital of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii, is seeking a Telephone Operator II to provide efficient switchboard service for staff, patients, and the community. You will route calls, support emergency communications, and maintain daily logs with accuracy and courtesy.

The position requires strong computer skills, familiarity with Google Sheets and Docs, and solid customer service experience. Prior hospital switchboard experience is preferred; education: high school graduate, with 2 years

• Prior hospital experience

Responsabilidades

• Operates switchboard and handles local and long-distance calls.
• Monitors 500 emergency line, Nurse Call System, Fire Alarm System and security communications.
• Notifies appropriate personnel of an emergency.
• Operates overhead paging system for announcements and locates staff.
• Maintains a daily log of events with times and names.
• Notifies supervisor for follow-up or special attention.
• Maintains patient census and coordinates with admissions/nursing for updates.
• Reports equipment malfunctions to repair personnel (telephone, elevators).
• Maintains and administers the parking program according to policy.
• Follows all organizational and departmental policies and guidelines.
