Horizons HR Services Inc. is seeking a Hospital Surgical Housekeeper for 2nd shift in Cleveland, OH. This is a full-time position with weekly pay and NO weekends.

Responsibilities include cleaning operating areas after surgery, transporting patients per nursing requests, and assisting nursing staff during cases while keeping the OR safe and sanitary. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, CPR certification, ability to lift over 175 lbs, strong organizational skills, and good

Responsibilities

• Cleaning operating areas after surgery, and safely transport patients to designated areas per nursing request.
• Assist nursing staff during surgical cases using a variety of technical skills.
• Maintain and control support services equipment and supplies in the OR.
• Maintain the OR environment in an aesthetically safe and sanitary condition
• Escorts and directs patients to appropriate sources of assistance; ensure a safe environment for patients and families.
• Coordinate uniform room activities such as locker assignments and scrubs for OR personnel.
• Properly handle and dispose of hazardous waste; comply with infection control requirements.

Job Description: Housekeeper / Custodian

Cleaning operating areas after surgery's, and safely transport patients to designated areas per nursing request. Uses variety of technical skills to assist the nursing staff as requested during surgical cases. Maintain and control support services equipment and supplies. Maintain the OR environment in an aesthetically safe and sanitary condition

Job Requirements: Housekeeper / Custodian

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
• Will have to get CPR certified.
• Be able to work quietly and quickly in patient area
• Excellent organizational skills
• A neat, clean appearance

• Must be able to read and write to facilitate proper communication with others.
