Job summary

Horizons HR Services Inc. is seekingHousekeepers to support a hospital system with cleaning and sanitizing duties across multiple locations, including patient areas and common spaces.

You will follow scheduled tasks, maintain a clean environment, and may operate small vehicles while ensuring timely attendance and professionalism. Prior at least high school level is preferred and basic reading/writing and math skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED preferred.
• Ability to work quietly and quickly in patient areas.
• Excellent organizational skills to keep spaces orderly and safe.
• Neat, clean appearance and professional demeanor.
• Ability to read and write to communicate effectively with others.
• Basic mathematical ability for simple calculations.

Responsibilities

• Provide housekeeping services at client locations including offices, patient rooms, dorms, classrooms, and common areas.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks ensuring all areas are clean and safe.
• May operate a golf cart or other vehicle as required.
• Attend shifts on time with reliable attendance.
• Other duties may be assigned based on business needs and client requirements.

Job Description:

• May provide housekeeping services in any location on client premises, including offices, patients’/residents’ rooms, dorms, classrooms, schools, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas and any other areas that may require attention


• Complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks, ensuring all areas of the site are glistening.


• May drive a golf cart or other vehicles.


• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity


• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirement

Pre-Employment Requirements: Candidates must successfully complete a background check, drug screening, and all required healthcare clearances, including vaccination verification, immunity titers (blood tests), and any additional vaccinations required by the facility, subject to applicable accommodations.
