Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a full-time Service Assistant III to replenish par level areas with supplies and accurately pick and pack orders for hospital supply locations and off-site facilities. Duties include inventory using handheld devices, restocking, delivering supplies, and maintaining shelf organization in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and three years of material distribution experience; valid drivers license and hospital experience

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Three years of relevant experience in Material Distribution preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• One-year hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inventories par level areas using electronic handheld equipment - iPad readers.
• Restocks par level areas.
• Delivers supplies to par level area.
• Maintains and arranges items on shelves for maximum efficiency.
• Removes debris and boxes from the clean rooms.
• Processes requisitions in PMM computer system.
• Communicates stock outs, unit of measure discrepancies, and order problems to the Manager of Distribution.
• Performs cycle counts and keeps assigned shelf locations neat and orderly.
• Delivers STAT supply requests to user department via cargo van in an efficient and timely manner.
