Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital is seeking a Supply Distribution Technician to join our team. The role involves moving supplies, materials, and linens across departments and maintaining organized supply rooms.

Schedule: evenings, Monday-Friday 2 PM–10:30 PM. You will support receiving, stocking, par level reviews, and coordination with procurement to ensure stock availability and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience not required; familiarity with warehouse/clinical supply environments is a plus.
• Proficiency with inventory systems and procurement processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily management of supply distribution and linen handling across departments.
• Receives and verifies items, updates inventory records, and ensures proper labeling and staging.
• Reviews par levels with department leaders to optimize stock and reduce waste.
• Maintains a safety-focused work environment and adheres to standards (OSHA, Joint Commission).
• Coordinates with procurement to resolve order issues and recalls.
