U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Supply Technician to distribute medical supplies and equipment throughout a VA medical center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Qualifications

• Education/experience to meet GS-5 minimum.
• Ability to distribute equipment and materials throughout a medical center.

• Volunteer experience may be credited toward qualifying experience.

Responsibilities

• Distribute supplies to all areas within the VA medical center.
• Stock primary and secondary inventory points and round out wards, clinics, and operating rooms.
• Use barcode scanning to receive materials and update the automated inventory system.
• Work may require standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional shifts in the afternoon/evening/overnight.
