Job summary

vTech Solution is seeking a Materials Management Clerk to support the Central Supply team in a hospital setting. You will manage receipt, stocking, distribution, and inventory control of medical supplies and equipment to ensure accurate levels and efficient operations.

The role requires strong attention to detail, computer proficiency, and effective communication with clinical and non-clinical departments. Day shift, on-site work, and collaboration across teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Experience with EMR and hospital computer systems, specifically Epic and Workday.
• Ability to lift, move, and transport supplies safely.
• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
• Effective customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock medical supplies, equipment, and inventory.
• Distribute supplies to hospital departments and clinical areas.
• Maintain inventory levels and replenish stock as needed.
• Process supply requests and routine departmental orders.
• Track incoming shipments and verify deliveries against packing slips.
• Enter inventory, receiving, and supply data into hospital systems.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Organize storerooms and maintain clean, orderly inventory locations.
• Identify and report stock shortages, damaged goods, or expired products.
• Deliver supplies and equipment throughout the hospital.
• Assist with supply-related recordkeeping and documentation.
• Follow hospital safety, infection prevention, and inventory control procedures.
