Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Distribution Attendant to perform order fulfillment, loading/unloading, and warehouse operations in a fast-paced hospital setting. Responsibilities include stocking, picking, shipping, receiving, and maintaining par stock for Nursing Units, with attention to safety and accuracy.

The role requires a High School diploma, effective communication, and the ability to lift 50 lbs., with prior inventory system experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with inventory systems and barcode handheld devices preferred.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, load, and unload pallets of supplies and organize them on racks.
• Restock carts and maintain accurate supply records.
• Deliver supplies to nursing units and obtain appropriate authorizations.
• Record transactions in inventory systems and perform cycle counts.
