• Monitor stock levels and anticipate supply needs to prevent shortages and overstock.
• Implement effective inventory control practices, including FIFO principles.
• Conduct regular audits and physical counts of inventory to maintain accuracy.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments to ensure they match purchase orders and meet quality and safety standards.
• Identify and report damaged, expired, or recalled items to the Supply Chain Manager.
• Coordinate with hospital departments to fulfill supply requests and ensure timely and accurate distribution of supplies.
• Accurately document all procurement and inventory-related activities.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of purchases, received shipments, and supply distribution.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA and hospital policies.
