Job summary

Prisma Health in Sumter, South Carolina, is seeking a senior leader to oversee the integration, implementation, and optimization of the Supply Chain Operations strategy at the Tuomey Hospital entity level.

You will work with stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives, ensure compliant and efficient operations, and lead teams across Distribution, Receiving, Warehousing, and Inventory control while managing local vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field.
• Experience using metrics to drive decisions and working with external vendors; hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead entity-level Supply Chain operations structure including storage, inventory management, distribution, and warehousing.
• Collaborate with department directors and clinicians to implement contract and process improvements.
• Optimize ERP usage and automate centralized workflows to improve efficiency.
• Implement standardized inventory control and cycle counting; reduce obsolete inventory and improve turns.
• Develop policies for inventory requirements and outbreak/disaster readiness with leadership.
