Job summary

Memorial Satilla Health is seeking a Director of Supply Chain Operations to oversee daily hospital supply chain functions, including inventory, vendor relationships, and expense management. The role integrates services with hospital operations, develops policies, and leads staff development to support patient care.

Strong leadership and healthcare supply chain experience are essential. The Director will partner with OR leadership on storage, replenishment, and restocking, while driving cost

Qualifications

• Five years' leadership experience and/or AD program graduate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all facility Supply Chain operations activities.
• Manage the profit and loss of the facility Supply Chain operations.
• Execute the infrastructure project plan for the facility including standardization programs and EDI.
• Facilitate market-based purchasing projects at the facility.
• Oversee implementation and operation plan for all point of use systems.
• Coordinate, manage, and evaluate facility Supply Chain personnel.
• Drive supply improvement initiatives (SII) to success.
• Standardize products and optimize supply utilization with clinicians and physicians.
• Manage facility implementation plan, identify risks, allocate resources, ensure execution.
• Oversee Supply Chain Performance Measurement and report results to leadership.
• Lead and manage facility Supply Chain OR operations activities.
• Collaborate with OR leadership to optimize supply storage, replenishment, and restocking.
• Assist OR and Supply Chain teams with data cleanup and best practice item setup.
• Foster continuous improvement in supply chain OR processes.
• Lead Supply Chain OR/Surgical Service initiatives with key stakeholders.
