Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a part-time Supply Distribution Technician at Pardee UNC Health Care in North Carolina. The role involves receiving, storing, and distributing hospital supplies and coordinating with internal departments.

Work includes ensuring accurate paperwork, restocking, and maintaining stock integrity on site. The position is onsite with a 20-hour work week and a day schedule, within the Materials Management unit, reporting to Pardee UNC Health Care operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience working in a materials management setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers items to receiving and ancillary areas with signatures and dating, restocks par areas, and exchanges carts in a timely manner.
• Verifies packing slips and POs, unpacks supplies, inspects for damages, and reports discrepancies to buyers promptly.
• Ensures stock rotation (new stock to back, old stock to front) and reports stock outs to the Buyer.
• Handles receipt, storage, and distribution of hospital supplies and special-order purchases for internal departments.
