Job summary

AtlantiCare seeks a Stationary Engineer to operate and maintain boiler room and related equipment in a hospital setting. You will monitor systems, record logs, and perform preventive maintenance while ensuring safety and adherence to regulations.

Ideal candidates have a NJ Black/Blue Seal license and 3+ years boiler room experience, with a strong focus on reliability and teamwork in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school preferred.
• 3+ years boiler room experience with Black Seal In-Charge.
• Valid New Jersey Driver's License; blue/black seal licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains stationary equipment including boilers, air compressors, and chillers.
• Records data such as temperature, fuel use, water levels, and log readings.
• Adjusts controls to start or shut down equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance using hand and power tools.
• Ensures safety PPE and adheres to AtlantiCare policies.
• Communicates plant status and completes follow-up tasks.
