Job summary

Medina Regional Hospital in Hondo, TX is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders in a diverse patient population. You will work with physicians, educators, and other healthcare professionals, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in ongoing education and quality improvement

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Willingness to work PRN schedule in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluation and diagnosis of speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and provide rehabilitative therapy.
• Collaborate with physicians, educators and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with regulations.
• Provide staff and family education and participate in quality improvement activities.
