Job summary

Medical Center Health System in Odessa, Texas is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognition, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. You will participate in interdisciplinary care and administer prescribed therapies across inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will document care accurately, participate in education programs, and collaborate with radiology staff on MBS studies.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed or eligible as a Speech Pathologist in Texas.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements speech and language programs through evaluation and assessment.
• Administers medically prescribed speech pathology programs and treatments.
• Completes medical documentation accurately and timely.
• Participates in educational and training programs for personnel.
• Works with Radiology staff performing MBS studies.
• Provides treatment coverage across outpatient, wound care, rehab, acute care and long-term care areas as needed.
