Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Illinois.
• ASHA CCC-SLP or SLP-CF with supervision acceptable on a case-by-case basis.
• At least one year of hospital experience.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification on hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and plan treatment for disorders of speech, language, cognition, swallowing.
• Conduct evaluation, treatment planning and implementation.
• Assist in developing and implementing new programs benefitting the department.
