Providence Swedish Edmonds is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver therapy to adults inpatients and outpatients, with select pediatric cases. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Washington State SLP license required at hire.
• Minimum 1 year hospital-wide experience with speech, language, and cognitive communication disorders and dysphagia.
• Experience with MBS procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech language therapy to predominantly adult inpatients and outpatients, and select pediatric/adolescents.
• Provide indirect clinical guidance to staff, students and volunteers in areas of communication, cognition, and swallowing.
• Perform evaluations and develop/implement individual plans of care upon physician referral; reassess treatment results and participate in discharge planning.
• Increase public awareness of communication and swallowing disorders through community and hospital staff education.
• Ensure all services comply with Swedish Medical Center standards, national/professional standards, state practice acts and evidence-based practice.
