Qualifications

• Graduate of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board training program.
• California Speech Language Pathologist License required upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification required upon hire.
• CCC paneled preferred (California Children’s Services).
• Experience in acute care, outpatient, adult or pediatrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, direct and administer speech-language pathology programs in the hospital.
• Assist patients to reach maximum performance and integrate into society.
• Perform administrative duties and participate in department performance improvement and safety programs.
• May orient staff and students and cover supervisor duties when needed.
