Job summary

Caregiver Services Inc. in the United States offers Hospital Sitter roles under our Weekend Warrior program. You will provide one-on-one patient support in a hospital, promoting safety and comfort while working with the nursing team.

Shifts are three 12-hour periods each weekend, Friday through Sunday, for a total of 36 hours weekly, with four consecutive days off. We offer a weekend differential, full-time status with medical benefits, and a streamlined hiring process.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to patients in a hospital setting.

Caregiver Services Inc., a Help at Home® company, is hiring Hospital Sitters for our Weekend Warrior program in your community. If you're compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing quality patient care, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Hospital Sitter, you'll provide one-on-one support to patients in a hospital setting, helping promote their safety, comfort, and well-being while working alongside the nursing team.

Work three 12-hour shifts each weekend and enjoy four consecutive days off every week.

Available Shifts

• Day Shift: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Night Shift: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

This full-time schedule includes 36 hours per week worked over three consecutive days, giving you Monday through Thursday off.

What You’ll Do

As a Hospital Sitter, you’ll provide one-on-one support to patients in a hospital setting, helping ensure their safety and comfort.

Your role will include:

• Providing continuous observation and monitoring of assigned patients.
• Assisting with basic patient care, including hygiene, repositioning, and comfort measures, as directed.
• Promptly reporting changes in a patient's condition or behavior to the nursing team.
• Following care plans and instructions provided by registered nurses (RNs) and other clinical staff.
• Promoting patient safety by remaining attentive and responding appropriately to patient needs.
• Documenting or communicating observations in accordance with facility policies, as required.
